Out of studio November 24 – December 3

The studio will be closed November 24th through December 3rd. Fall/holiday season is always crazy busy, which I love and am so thankful for but am also looking forward to some much needed family time and SLEEP! I’m sure many of you reading this can completely relate. So we’re off to soak up some sunshine. I will be checking emails and voicemails once a day. There are also a ton of orders going out this week so for clients, keep your eye out for a package from me.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for this year, including my wonderful clients that allow me to love what I do and spend time with your precious little ones.

Family of 5 – Minneapolis Studio Lifestyle Portraits

This family is very dear to my heart. They took a chance on me many years ago when I first started, including my very first newborn which is still one of my favorite sessions to date. Their sessions are always so much fun, almost as fun as getting a chance to catch up a bit and see how their family has grown. They stopped by the new studio, I’m so loving the space.

Miss A – such a doll.

Mr T, he earned his sucker for sure.

And the newest member of the family, little M. Such gorgeous eyes.

While we did the posed shots, I LOVED this one. It’s a little more “real” of what life with 3 young kids is like. Beautiful chaos.

and just a few more. I always love parent shots.

Great seeing you again L family!

Yummy – Minneapolis Newborn Portraits

There is just one word to describe little J…yummy. His hair, those little lips…okay, now I sound like I’m stalking him but really how cute is this little guy. He also happened to be the very first session in the new studio.

and with his loving parents. He takes many naps on dad’s chest, so we had to capture his favorite sleeping spot.

Can’t wait to watch Little J grow over the next year! It was wonderful seeing you again (you may recognize this beautiful couple from their maternity session a few months back)! Can’t wait to show you more!

The New Studio

I’m very excited to announce that at the end of October, I signed on a new studio! Those on my facebook page have already had a preview but I wanted to share it with everyone here as well. More has been done since I took these, furniture moved in and a bit of decorating that will continue over the next few weeks but all studio sessions starting today are being held at the new studio. I can’t tell you how excited I am for this. I’ve been looking for a space with amazing light and character for over 2 years so even though this studio was really considered a “raw” space before the construction, I knew it was home. A bonus is the outdoor spaces are equally fun, with great old buildings and green space too, being right by the river.

It’s located in a great artist building in NE Arts District, Grain Belt Studios.

gorgeous natural light even on gloomy days

and some of the before pictures –

Thank you P & J woodworking for your wonderful work and attention to detail! Will be sharing sessions soon from the new space!

Little E – Minneapolis Newborn Photography

Meet the newest member of the Watch Me Grow plan. He was born just over 5lbs and is just as cute as can be. He was a smilely little one too, gotta love that.

Can’t wait to watch him grow over the next year!

Miss G – Maple Grove Newborn Photographer

Now that the fall/outdoor sessions have come to a close, it’s time for babies, babies and more babies. First up is this little sweetheart, Miss G. Once she got all settled in, she was such a great little model for her very first photoshoot.

It was great meeting you B family – hope she’s sleeping a little better!

And for those who follow the blog – I’m very excited to announce the new studio will be done on Wednesday! My first set of sessions will held there on Friday and Saturday. Those who follow me on facebook have already seen the before pictures but I’ll post some after pictures very soon. Can’t wait!
