Meet N. Love her. She’s the younger sister of the newborn on my main page of my website. She slept pretty much the entire session. As long as she was well fed and warm, she was a happy little baby. She went in and out of poses faster than any baby I’ve photographed. This little lady just fell into them and made my job easy.

Meet little T. He was so good…sleepy, squishy, and oh so adorable.
and often during sessions, people will ask to incorporate something special to the family. This little guy is the forth generation in the award winning Minnesota winery and vineyard WineHaven. I have to admit, it took me a minute to come up with how to incorporate wine bottles with a newborn but I love how it turned out and hope they do too!

She was my last newborn of 2008 and is the sweet little newborn in the blog header. We headed to the Como Conservatory for her session, a favorite location of mine for this age. The poinsettias were the perfect backdrop and I think we all benefited from some warmth and greenery with this frigid weather we’ve been having!

and you can just feel the love they have for their little girl. I adore the way she leaned back and gave her daddy a snuggle. Priceless.
Great seeing you again M family. Thank you for entrusting me to capture F’s first year. Oh, and the canvas selection this time is going to be a tough one! She was a dream.
I love maternity sessions. There is so much anticipation of what is to come in just a few weeks. It was so much fun chatting with L about her pregnancy and their plans for delivery. They had the most beautiful nursery all ready for their little girl with the softest light filtering in.

I can’t believe James is already 5 months old. He has continued to gain weight like crazy. At 4 months he was up to 18 lbs and I’m guessing he’s around 20 lbs now. He’s just all rolls! He’s already in 12-18 month clothes which is crazy. I actually had to go out and buy him new clothes because I refuse to put a 5 month old in jeans every day. Ben didn’t fit into 12-18 month clothes until he was walking.
Of course for his pictures he was wearing my favorite outfit for babies, his birthday suit!
