Miss I – Minnetonka Newborn photography

So pretty, and soooo sleepy and curly…love that. I took her beautiful mama’s maternity images a few months back so it was so fun to come back and hear how everything went and meet Miss I. This little one is very, very loved and I have a feeling will be quite the fashionista as well!

My Girl

A few nights ago, I did a session just for Lindsey (no brothers allowed!). It was officially her 5 year session even though her birthday was in January. This is such a big time in a little girl’s life. So while most of our sessions include all three kids, this one was all about her. It was about what she loves…anything fairies (she even got to pick out her fairy outfit herself) and it was all about capturing her exactly as she is. I love this age. There are images where I see the little girl she was and still is. In other images I see the girl she is becoming. She is starting kindergarten in a few weeks, which is a huge step. And those front teeth, they’ll be gone in less than a month changing her smile forever. She’s growing up. I’m making her very own album of the session, for her to have as a keepsake to mark this milestone and for me too. The day will come when she’ll be too “old” for fairies and maybe even dresses. But for now, I’m cherishing this time. I can’t wait to watch her confidence and independence soar as she learns the ropes as a big kid at school…and then part of me wants her to be my little girl forever. I so love this girl.

I had the pleasure to meet this lovely family and help document little G’s first month into this world. He wasn’t quite sure what he thought about this whole sleeping and posing thing but he ended up doing wonderfully.

I’ve been having so much fun with the new macro I bought just for newbies.

Little baby lips, I may like them almost as much as baby feet.

I first met M for her maternity session….now they have two little boys with twenty perfect toes and twenty perfect fingers. At just 9 days old, these two little ones were so good…they loved cuddling up with each other.
