Isn’t he so sweet? Just a pumkin and he was so good for me. Congratulations B family!

This little guy was so sweet. His mom had bought a variety of items from Etsy for the session which is always fun for me. I might have to add this little hat to my collection as well.

and because it doesn’t matter how many newborns I do, I LOVE catching those little smiles.

Great meeting you M family!
I knew when this gorgeous momma-to-be greeted me with a huge hug that this was going to be a fun session! She really is beautiful inside and out. They were so fun together too, I actually had to banish her hubby during the shots just of her because he kept making her giggle. Love that. Can’t wait for this little one to arrive. She already has a fun closet of adorable dresses all ready for her arrival.

It was great finally meeting you! Good luck in the next few weeks, can’t wait to meet her!
This family has been on the blog before, they have the most beautiful home and grounds…a photographer’s dream. Then Mrs S mentioned a couple old junk cars in the neighbors field…yep, I was all over that. Nevermind the hundreds of mosquitos and oh, that wasp’s nest. These guys were troupers.

and how gorgeous are these kids (well, not really kids anymore)

Great seeing you all as always! Hope you have a great trip!
A few times a week I get questions from new photographers about lenses, business, marketing, etc. While I try to get to all of them, often my own business and kids get in the way. A colleague of mine whom I respect both her artistry and her business posted a wonderfully written article to help aspiring photographers get started. It has a ton of great information in it, more than I could type in any email. It has a lot of information I wish I had known when I first started out and hopefully it can help you too!

Happy reading!
You’ve seen this group before which my sister affectionately calls her “herd”. We did their annual session which is always so fun for me. We decided to do more of an urban feel this time around and I love how they turned out.

Little T just turned 2. That bus goes everywhere!

Mr D at 4 3/4…you should see the expressions we got. A character for sure.

Miss K…my little sweetheart

the oldest, P. Can he really be 10? Crazy how fast they grow up.

and just so everyone isn’t fooled by these sweet smiling faces, we had a lot of this too (which happens to be one of my favorites)

Love ya sis!
