Welcome to the Katie Welsh Photography blog! I am a Minneapolis Children's Photographer specializing in modern lifestyle custom portraits of maternity, newborn, baby, children and families.

If you have a newborn, sessions are best scheduled within the first 5-12 days. Please call before the baby is due so we can reserve time around your due date.

Thanks for visiting!

Anticipation – Minneapolis Maternity Photographer

My poor neglected blog! I promise to go back and blog some of the sessions I’ve missed but I wanted to give S and P a sneak peek! Such a fun couple and I can’t wait to meet their little one in Feb!

Great meeting you both!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thank you so much to my wonderful clients. It’s such an honor to watch your families grow and get to be a small part of it.

Just a reminder that the studio is closed through Dec 5th as we spend time with our own little family. All emails will be returned on Dec 5th.

Have a wonderful holiday!!

Happy Birthday Little M

We had such a great day for Little M’s pictures. The rain stopped as we were getting out of our cars and cleared in perfect time. This was Little M’s last session on the Watch Me Grow plan. It’s been so fun seeing him go through his first year and getting to know his family.

Miss G

It was so fun to see Miss G again. The last time I saw her she was just a few weeks old and we were in a blizzard! She’s almost a year old now and will be a big sister soon too!

The L Family – Minnetonka Family Photographer

It was so great to see the L family again. Mrs L is featured in my blog header which is still one of my family maternity sessions. Their family has grown a bit since then!

Beautiful blue eyes – Minneapolis Twin Photography

Love these two! They have grown so much since our last session and I swear their eyes are getting even more blue. Looking at their parents, it’s no surprise.
